(Hans Augusto) and Margret Rey. In the beginning, only Hans received credit for their stories since there were so many children's books written by women at that time. Eventually, Margret became publicly known as Curious George's author and H.A. as the illustrator. The Reys authored and illustrated many other children's books, all of which have been overshadowed by the beloved little monkey, Curious George.
